Absorption heat pump

If an active flue gas condensation system with an absorption heat pump is integrated into a heating plant, additional heat can be extracted. This leads to increased heat output from the heating plant with the same fuel consumption, or to reduced fuel consumption with the same heat output. For warm water boilers (105 °C supply temperature), this means an efficiency increase of approximately 20 percentage points, which corresponds to an additional heat yield of 20–25%. In the case of a hot water boiler subject to testing (150 °C supply temperature), a further 5–10 percentage points of efficiency increase can be generated. This corresponds to an additional heat yield of 30–40%.

Ihre Vorteile

  • High increase in efficiency and performance from a single source
  • Reduction in heat generation costs
  • Significant increase in the degree of biomass utilization
  • 20 – 40 % more heat from the same amount fuel – Increased output of the heating plant without expanding the silo
  • Low additional maintenance and servicing costs
  • High partial load capacity of the absorption heat pump (up to 10 % of nominal output)
  • Power consumption < 1% of the heat output of the absorption heat pump (compression heat pumps > approx. 25%)
  • Safe operating materials Water and lithium bromide salt
  • Operation of the absorption heat pump in negative pressure: No media escape in the event of leakage
  • Conserving resources by reducing biomass consumption
  • Reduction of visible vapor clouds at Stack through efficient flue gas condensation
  • Quiet operation of the heat pump
