Energy Cooperative Vintl, IT Vintl

General information
After 20 years of operation, the Vintl heating plant in South Tyrol was expanded due to growing demand. Due to the constant expansion of the network, the operators decided in 2019 to expand the plant with another biomass boiler. The expansion work started in May 2020 and in mid-November the UTSR-1600.42 visio moving grate furnace was commissioned as planned. The furnace supplements the heating plant with an output of 1.7 MW. Thanks to the efficient visio technology and the use of an air preheater (LUVO), the plant can be operated efficiently and gently even at partial load.
